All you need to do is install Komplete Kontrol and then update the firmware on the board and you are off and running.The keys themselves are very nice and feel great. It is very easy to set up and use, and takes away a lot of PC face time and lets you really dig into the sounds available. I saw the A61 on a YouTube video and saw how easily it integrated into Komplete Kontrol and wanted to give it a try. I was spending more time on my computer keyboard mousing around than I was actually playing music. My take on the product may not be the same as someone who lives and breaths keys.I recently got Komplete 12 and was overwhelmed by the number of sounds in the package. Now that I do a lot of home recording I've found I really needed more to my music so I've delved back into the world of samplers and synthesis. I've been around synths since the 80's but they have never been my primary instrument. For reference, I am a guitar player not a keyboardist. ![]()
